Warehouse Supervisor

We are an event furniture rental company in Miami looking for a warehouse supervisor with delivery driving experience to join our team. You’ll work with the warehouse team prepping, delivering and picking up orders to and from events. **Must have box truck driving experience**

Responsibilities:

- During prepping, you will manage tasks and team members. This includes making a checklist with all the things that need to be done, assigning team members to each task, and overseeing that it’s being done correctly and in a timely manner.

- During deliveries, installation, and pickups, you will drive 24' trucks to location, supervise the team during furniture install and be the contact person for our client and troubleshoot any problems that could arise.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-Scheduling team members and booking temporary staff.

-Reserving trucks

-Ordering warehouse supplies

-Monitoring Inventory

What we require from you:

Since you will be driving a large truck, we will need you to have truck driving experience (CDL license Class A is a plus.)

The event industry has a year-round season, so we will need you to be able to work flexible hours. This means that you will be working during the day as well as some nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will be meeting the customer during the delivery so we expect you to have a friendly and helpful attitude.

You will need to be able to speak and read English fluently so you can communicate and help our customers when you are on location.

Experience:

Box truck / delivery driver 2 years

Warehouse: 2 years

License:

Clean driver’s license

CDL Class A (preferred)
